Annaly Capital Management, Inc. (NYSE: NLY) announced a 4.8 percent increase in its quarterly dividend to 65 cents per share, from its prior 62 cents a share. Shares added 1.11 percent or 21 cents to trade at $18.71.
Shares of Asia Entertainment & Resources Ltd. (Nasdaq: AERL) jumped 17.11 percent or 96 cents to trade at $6.57 as it declared a semi-annual cash dividend of 10 cents per share.
Ameriana Bancorp. (Nasdaq: ASBI) announced a quarterly cash dividend of 1 cent per share, payable on July 29, 2011 to shareholders of record on July 8, 2011. Shares gained 0.21 percent or 1 cent to trade at $4.80.
