Ahead of the opening bell, the US stock futures were trading green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was 20 points or 0.17 percent up at 11,983. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index gained 0.20 points or 0.02 percent to 1,294 while, Nasdaq Composite Index reached 2,262, gaining 7.25 or 0.32 percent.

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE: GS) will redeem in full the Preferred Shares held by Berkshire Hathaway, for the stated redemption price of $110,000 per share, plus accrued and unpaid dividends. The redemption date will be April 18, 2011. GS is trading at $161.44, up 0.93 percent.
