As the Wall Street jumped after Bernanke’s testimony, several stocks recorded a new 52-week high/low. Some notable stocks are discussed here.

52-Week highs:

Kinetic Concepts Inc. (NYSE: KCI) hit a new 52-week high of $68.12 on trading volume of 22 million shares. The average trading volume of the stock was 877 thousand shares. The stock jumped after a group of private investors agreed to acquire the company for $6.3 billion. KCi is currently trading at $68.06, up 5.54 percent.

AutoZone Inc. (NYSE: AZO) recorded a new 52-week high of $300.40 in the initial hour of trading, on trading volume of 74 thousand shares. The stock is currently trading higher by 0.41 percent to $298.81 a share.

Netflix Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX) recorded a new 52-week high of $303.85 on trading volume of 3 million shares, after JPMorgan initiated the stock with a buy rating. NFLX is currently trading at $298.50, up 2.48 percent on Wednesday.

Glu Mobile Inc. (Nasdaq: GLUU) shares hit a new 52-week high of $5.86 a share on trading volume of 4 million shares. Shares of Glu Mobile jumped after the PopCap Games deal. GLU is currently trading up by 12.12 percent to $5.83 on Wednesday.

52-Week Lows:

Transcept Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: TSPT) recorded a new 52-week low of $4.90 a share on trading volume of 1 million share. The stock tumbled after the company said the Food and Drug Administration rejected its new drug application for insomnia treatment Intermezzo. TSPT is currently trading at $5.11, down 3.48 points, or 40.51 percent.

Nokia Corp. (NYSE: NOK) hit a new 52-week low of $5.63 a share on trading volume of 19 million shares, as the company reaffirmed its joint venture ownership in Nokia Siemens Networks and ruled out any outside equity investment. NOK is currently trading lower by 1.12 percent to $5.74 a share.

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE: BAC) hit a new low of $10.15 a share on trading volume of 44 million shares, before it recovered its early losses. The stock is currently trading higher by 1.18 percent to $10.33 a share.

Logitech International SA (Nasdaq: LOGI) recorded a new 52-week low of $10.17 a share on volume of 800 thousand shares. The stock is currently trading lower by 1.43 percent to $10.31 a share.
