Smithfield Foods Inc. (NYSE: SFD) slumped 4% on Friday, a day after Russia imposed a ban on pork imports from two Smithfield Foods Inc. plants, saying inspectors found hazardous substances in shipments.

Shares of Noble Energy (NYSE: NBL) fell more than 1% after UBS downgraded its rating on the stock to Neutral from Buy. 

Shire plc (NASDAQ: SHPGY) declined more than 2% after Piper Jaffray lowered its rating on the company to Neutral from Overweight and slashed its price target to $76 from $82.
