Qwest Communications (NYSE: Q) rallied more than 2% after Goldman Sachs upgraded its rating on the company to Buy from Neutral and lifted its price target to $7 from $5.75.

Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT) rose more than 2% after NASA announced that the company has been selected to become part of the agency's Launch Services II contract. 

Orthovita Inc. (NASDAQ: VITA) jumped more than 5% than on Friday after Lazard Capital upgraded to Buy from Hold.   

Shares of A123 Systems (NASDAQ: AONE) soared more than 7% on Friday, a day after the Lithium-ion battery make said that Daimler and General Motors have expressed interest in the company's battery technology in the electric vehicle space.

Jabil Circuit Inc. (NYSE: JBL) surged more than 3% after Goldman Sachs initiated coverage on the company with a Buy rating.
