Shares of Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) slumped more than 15% on Wednesday, a day after the mail processing company posted weaker-than-expected quarterly results and cut its outlook for the full year 2010.

Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI) tumbled more than 24% after the company posted quarterly profit that missed expectations. The company also issued a disappointing fiscal first-quarter outlook.

Leap Wireless International Inc. (NASDAQ: LEAP) slid as much as 15% on Wednesday, a day after the company posted a wider-than-expected quarterly loss. Net loss totaled $18.24 million or 24 cents per share, from $62.75 million or 89 cents per share in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue increased 6% to $633.54 million from $597.41 million. Analysts, on average, expected the company to report a loss of 23 cents per share on revenue of $671.77 million.

Titanium Metals Corporation (NYSE: TIE) plunged as much as 11% on Wednesday, a day after the metals and mining company posted lower-than-expected quarterly revenue. 

Shares of Inc. (NASDAQ: DSCM) plummeted more than 25% after the company said that it swung to a second-quarter loss of $2.7 million, or a loss of 3 cents per share. That compares to a profit of $1 million, or a penny per share, in the comparable period last year.
