Ahead of the opening bell, the US stock futures were trading red. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was 4 points or 0.03 percent down at 11,951. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index lost 1.30 points or 0.10 percent to 1,287 while, Nasdaq Composite Index reached 2,250, losing 7 points or 0.31 percent.

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE: GS) will redeem in full the Preferred Shares held by Berkshire Hathaway, for the stated redemption price of $110,000 per share, plus accrued and unpaid dividends. The redemption date will be April 18, 2011. GS is trading at $161.44, up 0.93 percent.
