ADR Report: Wall Street Trade in Red

The Bank of New York Index for American Depository Receipts’ (ADR) is trading down by 1.22 percent, or 1.53 points to 124.70 on Friday with Greece-based financial institution, National Bank of Greece SA Spon(NYSE: NBG-PA)  being the biggest gainer in the index.

National Bank of Greece is trading higher by 7.25 percent to $4.14 on Friday. Among the biggest decliner, France-based communication services provider Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU) was trading lower by 17.03 percent to $2.29 an ADR.

The European Index for the ADR’s was trading down by 1.79 points, or 1.54 percent to $114.76.

Among the gainers in the European ADR’s, National Bank of Greece is trading higher by 7.25 percent to $4.14., and Germany-based semiconductor manufacturer Aixtron SE (Nasdaq: AIXG) higher by 3.01 percent to $15.39 an ADR on Friday. Among the decliners, Alcatel-Lucent is down by 17.03 percent to $2.29 an ADR., and Ireland-based biopharmaceutical company, Amarin Corporation plc (Nasdaq: AMRN) trading lower by 14.02 percent to $7.30 an ADR.

The Asian ADR index was trading down by 1.12 percent, or 1.35 points to 119.08.

Among the biggest gainers in Asian ADR’s, China-based biopharmaceutical company China Nuokang Bio-Pharmaceutical Inc. (Nasdaq: NKBP) is higher by 8.57 percent to $3.80 on Friday and China-based photovoltaic product manufacturer Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd (NYSE: STP) up by 3.56 percent to $2.62. Among the decliners,  China-based solar cells module manufacturer, China Sunergy Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: CSUN) is trading lower by 6.54 percent to $1.00 an ADR and China-based social networking company Renren Inc. (NYSE: RENN) down by 9.23 percent to $5.21 an ADR.

The Latin American Index was trading down by 1.20 percent, or 4.26 points to 349.58.

Among the gainer, Mexico-based wholesaler Grupo Casa Saba, S.A. de C.V. C (NYSE: SAB) is up by 3.46 percent to $8.68 an ADR, and Chile-based beverages company, Embotelladora Andina S.A. Commo (NYSE: AKO-A) trading up 1.55 percent to $23.00 an ADR. Among the decliners, Brazil-based hypermarket operator Companhia Brasileira de Distrib(NYSE: CBD) fell 3.67 percent to $37.31 an ADR and Brazil-based electricity distributor CPFL Energia S.A. CPFL Energia (NYSE: CPL)  down 3.49 percent to $24.87 an ADR.
