As the U.S. market traded in the red during the day’s trading, several stocks recorded new 52-week highs or lows.Some notable stocks are discussed here.

interCLICK Inc. (NYSE:ICLK), which provides data-linked advertising solutions, recorded a new 52-week high of $8.99 with a trading volume of more than 21 million shares. The company will be bought by Yahoo.inc for $270 million in cash. Shares gained 20.81 percent, or $1.54, to trade at $8.94.

INX Inc. (Nasdaq: INXI), a U.S. based technology infrastructure provider company, recorded a new 52-week high of $8.61 with a trading volume of more than 1.3 million shares. The company today announced its planned merger with Presidio. Shares gained 13.38 percent, or $1.01, to trade at $8.56.

ITT Corp. (NYSE:ITT), an engineered product retailer, recorded a new 52-week low of $16.67 with a trading volume of more than 4 million shares. The company was recently downgraded by S&P after announcing plans to splits its business in two. Shares gained 2.85 percent, or $0.50, to trade at $18.03.

Amedisys Inc(Nasdaq: AMED ), a health service provider, recorded a new 52-week low of $9.83 with a trading volume of more than 2 million shares. The company today announced its earnings result and reported a net profit decline of 19 percent. Shares declined 23.84 percent, or $3.13, to trade at $10.00.

MetroPCS Communications (NYSE: PCS), a wireless communication carrier, recorded a new 52-week low of $7.58 with a trading volume of more than 7 million shares. The company’s net income declined 10 percent to $69.3 million. Shares lost 9.65 percent, or $0.82, to trade at $7.68.

DigitalGlobe, Inc (NYSE: DGI), a digital earth imagery solutions provider, recorded a new 52-week low of $17.61 with a trading volume of more than 450,000 shares. The company is scheduled to announce its third quarter earnings today after the market close. Shares lost 9.17 percent, or $1.87, to trade at $18.53.
