ADR Report: Wall Street Trade Higher, Extending Previous Session’s Gains

The US stocks higher on Tuesday extending the prior session's gains, on hopes European policy makers were coming closer to a plan to stave off a messy sovereign default.

The Bank of New York Index for American Depository Receipts' (ADR) was trading higher by 3.01 points, or 2.64 percent to 116.95 on Tuesday, with being the biggest gainer in the index.

China-based textile company, China Xiniya Fashion Limited ADR (NYSE: XNY) was trading higher by 39.26 percent to $1.88 on Tuesday. Among the biggest decliner was China-based men's apparels maker, Zuoan Fashion Limited (NYSE: SSN) was trading lower by 18.40 percent to $2.35 an ADR today.

The European Index for the ADR's was trading higher by 2.84 points, or 2.72 percent to $107.32, today.

Among the gainers in the European ADR's were, France-based 4G semiconductor solutions provider, Sequans Communications S.A. ADR (NYSE: SQNS) was trading higher by 21.95 percent to $6.89, and Germany-based financial institution, Deutsche Bank AG was trading higher by 7.71 percent to $37.86 an ADR on Tuesday. Among the decliners were, Germany-based dialysis company, Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA ADR (NYSE: FMS) was trading lower by 1.88 percent to $69.47, and Ireland-based contract research organization, ICON plc (Nasdaq: ICLR) was trading lower by 0.56 percent to $17.77 an ADR.

The Asian ADR index was trading higher by 3.19 points, or 2.82 percent to 116.36 on Tuesday.

Among the biggest gaining ADR's are, China-based textile company, China Xiniya Fashion Limited ADR (NYSE: XNY) was trading higher by 39.26 percent to $1.88, and China-based Agria Corporation ADR (NYSE: GRO) was trading higher by 12.50 percent to $1.35. Among the Decliners are, China-based men's apparels maker, Zuoan Fashion Limited (NYSE: SSN) was trading lower by 18.40 percent to $2.35 an ADR, and China-based online financial data provider, China Finance Online Co. Ltd. ADR (Nasdaq: JRJC), was trading lower by 4.60 percent to $2.20 an ADR.

The Latin American Index was up 9.02 points, or 2.86 percent to 324.54 today.

Among the gainers were, Mexico-based contruction company, Empresas ICA, S.A.B. de C.V. ADR (NYSE: ICA) was up 5.22 percent to $5.04 an ADR, and Chile-based regional bank, CorpBanca SA ADR (NYSE: BCA) was up 5.29 percent to $19.49 an ADR. Among the decliners were, Mexico-based poultry products producer, Industrias Bachoco, S.A.B. de C.V. ADR (NYSE: IBA) was down 0.61 percent to $22.65 an ADR, and Argentina-based real-estate company, Alto Palermo S.A. (Nasdaq: APSA) was trading lower by 0.85 percent to $15.14 an ADR on Tuesday.
