Dividend Scan: UIS, MNRK, AJG, SRCE, WEC

As the US stocks continue to trade higher, several companies declared their future dividends. Some notable dividend payers are discussed here

Unisys Corp. (NYSE: UIS), a provider of portfolio of IT services, software, and technology, said Friday that its board of directors has declared a dividend of $1.5625 per share on the company's outstanding 6.25% Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock, Series A. The preferred stock dividend is payable September 1, 2021 to stockholders of on August 15, 2011. UIS is up 0.57 percent to $26.33 on Friday. UIS is up 0.84 percent to $26.40 a share.

Monarch Financial Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: MNRK), the holding company for Monarch Bank, announced that its Board of Directors on July 20, 2011, declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.4875 per share on its 7.80% Series B Noncumulative Convertible Preferred Stock.  The dividend is payable on September 30, 2021 to shareholders of record on September 1, 2011. MNRK is trading unchanged at $8 a share today.

Arthus J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG), a provider of insurance brokerage and third-party claims settlement and administration services to entities in the United States and abroad, said that its board of directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.33 per share on the Common Stock of the Company, payable on October 14, 2021 to Shareholders of Record as of September 30, 2011. AJG is trading lower by 0.40 percent to $27.55 a share.

1st Source Corp.’s (Nasdaq: SRCE) board of directors approved a cash dividend of $0.16 per common share, an increase of 6.67 percent over the third quarter a year ago. The dividend is payable to shareholders of record on August 5, 2021 and will be paid on August 15, 2011. SRCE is trading higher by 7.99 percent to $23.65 a share.

Wisconsin Energy Corp.’s (NYSE: WEC) board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of 26 cents a share on the company's common stock.  The dividend is payable Sept. 1, 2011, to stockholders of record on Aug. 12, 2011.  This marks the 276th consecutive quarter – dating back to 1942, that the company will have paid a dividend to its stockholders. WEC is trading lower by 0.85 percent to $31.64.
