How Elon Musk can regain investors' confidence

Elon Musk speaks at Boring Company community meeting in Bel Air Los Angeles

A British diver who assisted in the rescue operation to free 12 young football players and their coach form flooded caves in Thailand last week has said he is considering legal action against Elon Musk.

According to the MailOnline, Mr Unsworth has not seen Musk's tweets yet but when he does he will weigh up his options and when he was asked whether he will take legal action he said 'if it's what I think it is yes, ' before adding: "This ain't finished".

Musk posted the comment on July 15 after Unsworth had earlier said a mini-sub built by Musk's team and taken to the cave site would have had "absolutely no chance of working".

In a weird series of tweets on Sunday, Musk said he would produce a video proving his submarine would have been able to reach the children and in a comment directed at Unsworth, added: "Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it".

Musk called the diver a "pedo" on Sunday in a tweet he later deleted. Musk has since deleted the nefarious tweet.

Whether it's investors betting against his stock or reporters or analysts who ask tough questions, Elon Musk has fought back, often around the clock on Twitter.

He said of Musk that he can "stick his submarine where it hurts".

Makers of all-electric cars and their buyers qualify for the $7,500 subsidy until the company sells a cumulative 200,000 vehicles in the United States. Probably the answer in some cases is yes, I should say nothing.

Trump tweets out letter he got from Kim Jong Un
US State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said North Korea has now offered to meet the delegation on Sunday. He also agreed to repatriate remains of United States troops who died during the Korean War six decades ago.

Divers completed the rescue of 12 boys last week while saying that Musk's submarine was "not practical for this mission".

Mr Unsworth yesterday said he had only heard about the tweets.

With Tesla's market value down by $2 billion in one day, shareholders would be better off if Musk had followed his own advice.

Meanwhile, CEO of Brian Communications Brian Tierney said Musk is "not showing the kind of discipline of someone going to manufacture hundreds of thousands of cars".

Unsworth, 63, said he hadn't actually met Musk face to face when Musk visited the cave during the rescue. TIME reports that Tesla shares went down on Monday by 3.5%, compared to late Friday.

Given the pressure, Musk may want to reconsider his approach to dealing with his critics, said Bryan Reber, who teaches public relations at the University of Georgia. "When you're the face of the company, as Elon Musk is, that vulnerability and responsibility is only ratcheted up". Musk responded to photos of the training session on Twitter, adding that his engineers were "also getting feedback from the British dive team on how to improve the design for future applications".

Musk's posts on Twitter sparked backlash from shareholders and Silicon Valley analysts, who called his behavior immature and an impediment to the vehicle company's success.
