The 'Holiday Fire' has damaged or destroyed about 20 structures so far.

Santa Barbara County said 10 to 20 structures had burned and 2,000 people were evacuated.

The Holiday fire in Goleta, California, north of Santa Barbara, grew rapidly overnight and is now at a size of 100 acres.

Authorities believe human activity sparked the blaze, but an exact cause hasn't been determined. The man had stayed through the night spraying down other people's houses.

Governor of California Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency for Siskiyou County, citing "extreme peril" to people and property.

Authorities announced that mandatory evacuation orders were being greatly reduced and numerous 2,500 people who fled Friday night would be able to return home by late afternoon.

CAL FIRE says the Klamathon Fire continues to threaten the communities of Hornbrook, CA, Hilt, CA, and Colestin, OR.
