Former student athletes say Ohio State University doctor groped men for years

Ohio lawmaker accused of ignoring abuse of Ohio State student-athletes

A fourth wrestler from Ohio State University has come forward with allegations that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), an assistant wrestling coach from 1986 to 1994, knew of sexual abuse of students by team doctor Richard Strauss. "No question in my mind", Trump added in the Thursday comments to reporters aboard Air Force One as they headed out for a Trump campaign rally in Montana.

"I considered Jim Jordan a friend", Mike DiSabato, one of Strauss's accusers, told NBC.

Former wrestlers have accused their team doctor from the time of sexual abuse in the mid-'90s.

The claims have become increasingly damning for Jordan, who is said to have known about the molestation for years.

Their statements came after Jordan told The Columbus Dispatch this spring that he "had not heard about any type of abuse at all".

Male athletes from 14 sports at Ohio State have reported alleged sexual misconduct by Strauss, who was on the faculty and medical staff and published a variety of research. He said in an interview on Tuesday that he had confided in Mr. Jordan multiple times about "the way Strauss performed physicals on us".

Strauss died in 2005, but in April the university announced it was opening an investigation into accusations he abused members of the wrestling team.

USA sanctions on Iran won’t disrupt crude supplies: Indian refineries
The future of Iranian crude exports was also in doubt. "Spare capacity, globally, is pretty thin and that bodes well for prices". A major OPEC meeting on Friday resulted in an agreement to enhance production by up to 1 million barrels per day.

These three men told NBC News that everyone knew Strauss showered regularly with the students and would touch them inappropriately during appointments. I believe Jim Jordan 100 percent.

The email refers to Jordan as "Reverend James - the "squeaky clean" US Congressman from Urbana, who does not recall systemic sex abuse and has never heard agent orange tell a lie and wants to be speaker of the house despite his apparent lack of knowledge of the systemic sex abuse...." In Congress, that means an Ethics Committee investigation.

"I participated with [Jordan] and the other wrestlers in locker-room talk about Strauss".

Kathleen Trafford, a spokeswoman for Porter Wright, tried calling Jordan's office on June 12 but Fury said "we have no record of a call". "It was very common knowledge in the locker room that if you went to Dr. Strauss for anything, you would have to pull your trousers down".

Before meeting with university officials, he said, he had contacted Mr. Jordan, with whom he said he spoke regularly.

But Jordan disputes reports that he ignored an interview request from a law firm the university has employed to investigate the abuse claims. "It's just not accurate to say those things, that we knew of it and didn't report it".

Dr. Strauss's inappropriate touching of athletes was open knowledge, he said, and he remembered talking about it with Mr. Jordan on road trips, in the sauna and after practices.
