On "Is There More", Drake hints at this possibly being the last release he puts out under the Birdman's label: "Yeah, soon as this album drop I'm out of the deal".

Drake's successes are definitely hard to match, but on this album he shouts out someone he deems to be a peer: Adele. "You are hiding a child, let that boy come home/ Deadbeat m********** playin' border patrol, ooh", the rapper from Virginia spits.

The Recording Industry Association of America said on Friday that Drake had become its top digital song artist, with 142 million digital single sales units, ahead of Rihanna and Taylor Swift.

"I wasn't hiding my kid from the world".

And then there's "March 14", the closing track, which is a long and inward-looking verse about becoming a father.

Drake appears to respond to that on his new single "Emotionless".

Federation Internationale de Football Association backs Maradona but urges World Cup star to be respectful
Santos will be demanding more from his players after they struggled to beat Morocco and only managed to draw with Iran in their last two games.

Rapper Kanye West has produced several albums this year, including his latest solo album and the shortest one of his career, "Ye;" a collaborative album with Kid Cudi called "Kids See Ghosts;" and solo albums for other rappers like Pusha T and Nas. On Emotionless, a track which wrings maximum weepiness from a sample of Mariah Carey's Emotions, Drake paints a bleak picture of a superficial Instagrammed world.

Drake's fifth studio album Scorpion, available now, is the rapper's first double disc release.

In another rousing titled March 14, he references the mother of his child Sophie, saying: "She's not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine".

The song coincidentally comes out a little more than a day after the death of Joe Jackson, the King of Pop's father and manager who guided his children's careers but was so ruthless in his discipline that his children were left traumatized.

"Scorpion", which clocks in at almost 90 minutes, features an array of guest appearances by marquee rappers like Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and Future.

As fans checking the album credits for Scorpion noticed, Anka has a writing credit on "Don't Matter To Me", which led of a lot of listeners to believe they came from the same sessions. The 31-year-old is clearly battling some hard feelings, especially given the fact that the Toronto native is the son of divorced parents and, as per the song, didn't want the same for his own child. It's not her fault she got dragged into all this. "I feel like, if he didn't finish it, you shouldn't use it. Respect the artist, I just don't feel like it's OK to use someone's vocals and. change them".
