LeBron James likens Golden State Warriors to New England Patriots

Cleveland Cavaliers Forward Le Bron James And Golden State Warriors Forward Kevin Durant

James led the Cavaliers with 33 points.

Cleveland: Defending champion Golden State, powered by 43 points from Kevin Durant, moved to the brink of a third National Basketball Association title in four seasons Wednesday by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-102.

James admitted that the Warriors, who lead the series 3-0, are more talented than the Cavaliers.

Wednesday night's Game 3 of the NBA Finals was the 100th playoff game of Draymond Green's tenure with Golden State. "Some of those shots, I don't think anybody in the world can hit those but him".

The Cavs weren't the one-man team they often seem to be in the first half, with James, Smith and Love all scoring in double digits as Love led the way with 15 points to go with 10 first-half rebounds. When Durant is that efficient from the floor - he shot 15-of-23 overall and 6-of-9 from 3-point range - Golden State is nearly unbeatable. However, having Durant gives them the opportunity to go through a bad game and still win. To end the first half, he made a 34-foot 3-pointer to trim the deficit to six after the Cavaliers held a 13-point advantage.

Cleveland raced into a 16-4 lead in the first half, the highlight being James throwing a pass to himself off the backboard and finishing with a dunk. Kevin Durant almost single-handedly kept the Warriors in the game. The last sweep in the Finals was San Antonio over Cleveland in 2007 in James' debut trip to the championship round.

James finished with 33 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, but he seemed exhausted by the end of the game, had little second half help and the Cavs became the first team in NBA history to go down 3-0 in back-to-back NBA Finals.

Durant had 11 points in the run and grabbed all seven Golden State rebounds in the opening quarter.

Ariya vaults into lead at US Women's Open
Ariya kicked it into high gear on the back nine by draining four birdies in five holes beginning at the par-five 11th hole. When Jutanugarn rose to No. 1 in the world for the first time last summer, she admittedly wasn't ready for it.

The Cavaliers had been 8-1 at home in the playoffs with eight wins in a row since losing their first-round opener to Indiana. "Yeah, it's pretty nice, a pretty nice luxury as a coach, that's for sure". "But tonight we weren't that good".

Curry was coming off a Game 2 in which he hit a Finals-record nine 3-pointers en route to 33 points.

Iguodala has averaged 11.4 points in 18 past finals games - including a 20-point showing for Golden State in last year's title clincher against the Cavaliers.

James has, for the most part, been a one-man wrecking crew for Cleveland, carrying his team as far as he can with herculean efforts.

In the time since he left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors two years ago, Kevin Durant has heard plenty from fans. Like in 2017, the 3-pointer was essentially a dagger.

Cleveland might have found something with Hood, but it ultimately didn't create the win it so desperately needed.

"We have a lot of talent as well". "We're one game away from elimination. But we've got to come out and got to play 48 minutes".
