Man Utd announce transfer deal to sign Brazil midfielder Fred

Man Utd transfer news Chelsea star Willian has been linked with a summer switch

The Brazil worldwide has joined Man United on a five-year deal from Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk and is the first Old Trafford incoming of the summer.

'When I signed him at Shakhtar, Taison and Bernard were playing in his position.

Brazil gave Fred permission to leave their training camp to tie up the move and he is due to return to rejoin the World Cup squad for a friendly against Austria on Sunday.

Fred would be a necessary replacement for United, who are short of two central midfielders following Michael Carrick's retirement and Marouane Fellaini's looming free agency.

It is likely he will slip straight into United's first team next season and make up a three-man midfield with Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.

Man ordered to move out of parents' home finalizing moving plans
Rotondo remains steadfast in blaming his parents for the family rupture and their refusal to back him in his child custody battle. He's said that the eviction from his parents' house is in retaliation for his losing visitation and that he was a good father.

Fred's career has not been without controversy however. But the suspension only applied to games sanctioned by Conmebol, the South American football confederation.

United might not yet be finished with transfer activity prior to the June 14 kickoff of the World Cup.

Gabriel Jesus jokes that fellow countryman Fred will always have his support, even if he is linked with a move to rival Manchester United.

And the Red Devils are now said to be considering a bid in the region of £75m-100m to bring the 25-year-old to Old Trafford this summer.

Jose Mourinho has wrapped up another transfer by completing the signing of Porto star Diogo Dalot.
