Tomi Lahren Schlossberg's Racist Rant? Yeah, That Whole Thing's Ridiculous

I pay for their welfare!’ Man scolding restaurant workers for speaking Spanish ID’d as NYC attorney

"I wish someone tells me I can't speak in my native language!" He apparently also speaks four languages including French, Hebrew, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, as written in his LinkedIn profile.

A white man's vitriolic rant in a Manhattan eatery Wednesday after overhearing employees speaking to customers in Spanish has gone viral.

Isaac Saul, an editor and columnist at the website A Plus, wrote Wednesday that he recognised the man as someone he had encountered last May at a far-right rally protesting political activist Linda Sarsour's commencement speech at City University of NY.

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign to send a a Mariachi band to play La Cucaracha in Schlossberg's law office has so far raised $1,029. He also states that the workers are probably on welfare that he says he pays for.

Global News has reached out to Aaron Schlossberg for comment. One clip was posted to YouTube in October 2016 by a man who said Schlossberg attempted to shove him on a sidewalk before threatening to call the police.

Of course there is video, and you have likely seen it: In it, Schlossberg tells an impressively calm and collected manager how offended he is to be hearing Spanish in midtown Manhattan.

Ex-CIA employee identified as suspect in 'Vault 7' leaks
Instead, Schulte was charged last August with three counts of receipt, possession and transportation of child pornography. Prosecutors, meanwhile, said in court last week that they plan to file a new indictment in the next 45 days.

The man then threatened to call immigration agents.

Shaun King posted a video on Instagram on Thursday of Schlossberg verbally assaulting a gentleman in October 2016 who he accused of not being a citizen of the US calling him "an ugly f*cking foreigner".

And on Google as of Thursday morning, a search on mobile for "Law office of Aaron M. Schlossberg" brings up an image of a Mexican restaurant.

An image made from video shared to social media on May 15, 2018 shows a man who threatened to call ICE on people who spoke Spanish in a restaurant in NY. "They're yelling, they're claiming things that aren't true", Schlossberg said on the phone in a video captured by the New York Daily News.

The incident gained so much traction that New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio took to Twitter to condemn Schlossberg for his outburst, writing: "New York City's diversity is our strength". "Defaming me. I can't even move, because they're blocking me". As a result, Yelp is on active cleanup alert, which removes "both positive and negative posts that appear to be motivated more by the news coverage itself than the reviewer's personal consumer experience with the business".

Schlossberg was identified as the perpetrator in the viral restaurant video in a formal complaint filed by two New York Democrats with the state court disciplinary system on Thursday. Another local reporter approached him at a courthouse in Queens.
