Storm chances return for Friday, with snow possible this weekend

Weather Authority: Warmer today, wet and cooler for the weekend

High temperatures will drop from the 60s on Saturday to the upper 50s on Sunday and to the mid-50s on Monday before returning to the 60s on Tuesday. The bulk of the activity will move through South MS between noon and 6 PM, but rain and the potential for strong storms will continue through the night before clearing early Sunday.

A massive spring storm is moving across the country bringing with it everything from damaging winds to snow and hail.

Sacramento saw just.06-0.12 inches of rain Wednesday, about half of what hit the Bay Area, according to the California Nevada River Forecast Center. Low temperatures will likely be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35.

By Monday, high pressure will take over the central plains. Much colder air crashes in Sunday afternoon as highs will be noticeably cooler in the 50's.

Winds will also be strong out of the east for a good part of the day.starting from the east-northeast in the morning and then ending from the east-southeast.

Cooler temperatures are expected Sunday, along with occasional rain and drizzle.

Tuesday will be sunny.

We may catch a lull with precipitation Saturday morning before the next wave of snow arrives for the midday Saturday and the afternoon.
