PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), Fortnite's main competitor in the battle royal space space, recently hit iOS and Android.

A separate report from Apptopia adds color to Epic's release, noting the game now sits in the No. 1 overall App Store spot in 89 markets. Merely three days after its initial release on iOS, the game is already topping the charts in many regions, including but not limited to the United States, most of Western Europe, Australia, and is close to cracking the code behind the #1 spot of Japan and many other regional app stores. In the first 72 hours, the game earned $1 million (close to Rs. 6.5 crore). You'd better get out there and get to work.

Released in July 2017, Fortnite has experienced an unprecedented rise in popularity thanks to its fast paced and addictive Battle Royale mode where players can build and shoot their way to success in a range of ways that bring new life to the genre.

That's especially true since it's making its way to mobile, where gamers generally expect games to be free and to spend money on them only when they feel it's worthwhile. It will be interesting to see the future of "Fortnite" Mobiles.

Epic Games revealed more details on the Fortnite Blitz mode in the patch notes for the latest update, outlined in an official blog post.

The storm circle within Blitz mode will shrink immediately upon match start, meaning games are expected to last a maximum of 15 minutes, pending any players actually survive until then.

The days of paying one price for a game and getting all the content have been long gone for some time now. And loot and other drops have been adjusted accordingly.
