Disney announces new Avengers, Marvel theme parks. Here's when they open

Marvel Themed Parks Coming to Disneyland

At Disneyland Resort, the new themed land will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure park, which has become the highest-rated attraction at Disneyland Resort since its 2017 opening.

An exhibit featuring Spider-Man and the Avengers will be coming to Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, alongside the wildly popular Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! ride.

Spider-Man and the Avengers will be making a splash at Disneyland and other Disney parks around the world in coming years, and Disney gave fans some hints Tuesday of the attractions to come.

Ever since Disney purchased Marvel and brought it into the family, many have expected the characters to have a bigger presence in the theme parks around the world. This will be in addition to the Iron Man Experience, which opened past year and is now the resort's most popular attraction.

Marvel announces that the Avengers and other super heroes will assemble in new themed areas at Disneyland resort, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland.

Top diplomats from US, South Korea meet
A Trump-Kim summit would follow an inter-Korean summit slated for late April at the truce village of Panmunjeom. "Right now, dialogue is needed and we are happy to have this meeting".

Disney acquired Marvel in 2009 and has been adding Marvel-themed attractions to some of its parks since.

This new land will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout attraction, and will take up the space that is now occupied by "a bug's land". Currently, the space is occupied by A Bug's Land, which will permanently close in late Summer 2018. The Hong Kong park already has the "Iron Man Experience", which opened in 2017.

The superhero-themed land will open to guests in 2020.

For guests heading there this year, Disneyland Paris is hosting the Marvel Summer of Super Heroes from June 10 through September 30. At Hong Kong Disneyland a similar ride will allow guests to team up with Ant-Man and the Wasp.
