Nun Involved in Legal Battle Against Katy Perry Dies During Court Hearing

The Nun Involved In 3 Year Legal Battle With Katy Perry Has Died Aged 89

USA media declared that a nun involved in a property case with singer Katy Perry has died amid court hearing.

Sister Catherine Rose Holzman was among a group of nuns that were battling Perry in court over her purchase of a former convent in Los Feliz.

Holzman and another nun, Sister Rita Callanan, disputed the sale, arguing they were already in talks to sell the property to restaurateur Dana Hollister for $44,000.

The nuns made a decision to sell the property to a local restaurant owner called Dana Hollister instead but crucially failed to secure the approval of their Archdiocese before going through with the proceedings.

A judge ruled that the sale of the convent was invalid and Perry and the Catholic Church were awarded a total of nearly $10m (£7.2m) in damages in December a year ago.

She told Fox 11 Los Angeles: "To Katy Perry, please stop". "It's not doing anyone any good except hurting a lot of people", she said.

"We asked her (Hollister) to save us, to buy the property".

Microsoft to make Windows S a 'mode' of Windows 10
It's been a while since Microsoft released a new Windows 10 build to the Slow ring, but today, the company released build 17115. Upgrade your computer with the regime's Mode to the normal version of Windows 10 will be free regardless of the release.

Earlier last week, a December ruling that ordered Hollister to pay $15 million in damages for interfering with the sale was put on hold when Hollister filed for bankruptcy.

"We extend our prayers today to the Immaculate Heart of Mary community and to all her friends and loved ones".

The sisters said they previously spoke with Archbishop Jose Gomez, who agreed they could choose who would purchase the property, but they could not get a hold of him once they chose to move forward with Hollister, The Los Angeles Times previously reported. They occupied it until 2011, when they say the church's archdiocese forced them to move to other locations.

In an interview with The Los Angeles Times in 2015, Callanan said that the nuns were against the sale because they didn't approve of the singer's image.

Another of the nun's concerns is with the singer herself.

With the sisters petitioning the Vatican for sale approval, but the matter not yet decided, the Archbishop and Katy Perry sued the sisters for interference after they proceeded to execute the deed with Hollister.
