Browns have trade in place to acquire Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry

Jarvis Landry signs franchise tag with Dolphins reports say

Quarterback is a separate concern, but the Browns are expected to draft one with the first pick of the National Football League draft or the fourth pick.

Exact terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.

The Dolphins will most likely draft a younger receiver and/or tight end in attempts to replace Landry's production (112 receptions, 987 yards, and nine touchdowns).

The franchise tag is expected to pay Landry around $16.2 million in 2018.

Warner criticizes Trump's response to threat of Russian interference
The U.S. has no formal diplomatic relations with North Korea . "Me", he joked before adding that no one in the room got his joke. But White House staffers have privately complained about difficulties attracting qualified candidates to the administration.

Although Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said he wanted Landry on his team in 2018, the team's actions spoke louder than their words.

Miami finished sixth-worst in scoring last season and went 6-10.

Landry's departure adds a receiver to the Dolphins' long list of offseason needs. If you're a Landry defender, it shows a receiver who was misused by the Dolphins. He was considered one of the top pending free-agent receivers before the Dolphins put the franchise tag on him to keep him off the open market.

Hue Jackson has handed his offense over to former Pittsburgh coordinator Todd Haley, who should know how to best use a player of Landry's skill after coaching Antonio Brown the past few seasons. The only certainty is it would far exceed anything the Ravens have paid a wide receiver in the past. Running back Kenyan Drake is also an adept receiver out of the backfield. Golden Tate played in the slot at an even higher rate than Landry and not many are complaining about his contributions with the Detroit Lions.
