But it appears she was not able to use her influence to diffuse a hostile situation aboard a New York-bound American Airlines plane while travelling with her sister at the weekend, upon which a big argument with cabin crew errupted. Jen told the crew that she didn't do anything wrong, but another member of the crew standing nearby says that Jen was asked if she'd like to leave the flight and she responded with a yes. She was removed by police.

Selter told the New York Post that the flight was delayed more than two hours and that the plane hadn't moved yet when she and her sister got out of their seats so they could stretch.

As per Selter's Twitter channel, minutes after her discussion with the general population who gave off an impression of being a pilot and flight orderly, she was drawn closer by men in uniform who disclosed to Selter she needs to get off the plane.

"Just like that, five cops coming at me".

Selter left Miami on another American Airlines flight, touching base in New York's LaGuardia Airport on Sunday morning, the carrier said.

Selter later took another flight with the carrier to NY.

While another passenger went to the restroom, the Instagram model stood up, later claiming she had been trying to put her jacket up.

Fitness model Jen Selter is famous for her curvy physique and has become a social media fitness star. The issue was that she wasn't wearing yoga trousers so she couldn't say "do you know who I am?" The videos Selter posted document it somewhat, but it's still unclear.

Another clip shows the woman and her sister exiting the plane. She apparently said "yes" when the crew member asked her if she wants to get off the plane.

"I did nothing wrong", reads one of her tweets.

The model also shared a video of another passenger, who she said made a decision to get off the plane after seeing how Selter was treated.

Jen has not addressed the incident on her Twitter since posting the videos, but did say in a statement to Page Six that the experience was "humiliating". "I just think they need to make changes within themselves and have to treat their passengers differently", she added.
