The Inversion Has Cleared Out, and the Storm Has Moved In

The National Weather Service in Chanhassen issued an updated forecast for the Sunday-Monday storm on Saturday morning, but continued to caution that Minnesotans should "stay tuned to the latest forecast" as "the location of the [snow] will likely shift over the next 36 hours". This means there is the potential for hazardous to risky travel along with threat to life if precautions are not taken.

For those in the storm's path: Expect the usual - strong winds, and freezing drizzle and rain turning into snow - but without the frigid arctic air experienced with other recent storms.
