Katie Nolan Warned, Not Suspended by ESPN ... For Trump Attack

The Associated Press

While appearing on Viceland's talk show "Desus and Mero", the 30-year-old sports talker called POTUS a "f-ing stupid person".

Nolan was talking about hand gestures and memes that could be associated with white supremacists with the hosts Desus Nice and The Kid Mero.

Less than three months into her ESPN tenure, Katie Nolan already is testing boundaries at a network that desperately wants its personalities to stick to sports.

The Nolan brouhaha is just the latest in a litany of bad press for the sports network.

On Friday, an ESPN spokesperson told Fox News, 'We have looked into the totality of Nolan's comments, they were inappropriate and we have addressed it with her'. Nolan also joked about Patriots QB Tom Brady not being smart and that she was on a lot of meds for a head cold.

Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing could bring $363M jackpot
With slightly better odds than the Powerball game, it's rare that months pass without someone winning a Mega Millions jackpot. The chance of winning either game is low, and the chance of winning both is extremely low - 1 in 88 quadrillion.

ESPN previously took action against one of their employees, Jemele Hill, after the SportsCenter host called Trump a white supremacist and tweeted about how to boycott sponsors who support Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.

In December, ESPN's front-facing employees attended a mandatory meeting at the company's headquarters in Bristol, Conn., to discuss the network's future and review its new policies on social media and political commentary.

Nolan made the comments with a bit of laughter, but they still challenge the political policy from ESPN. Longtime ESPN President John Skipper suddenly announced in December that we has resigning from the network due to a substance addiction problem.

ESPN apologized for Hill's comments but didn't fire her.
