Fans have anticipated the trailer for Black Mirror season 4's "U.S.S. Callister" episode for months; ever since a stack of eye-catching first look images were released back in September. Regardless of where you sit, Black Mirror has paved the way for countless copycats and revivals, making it a landmark program in its own right. Just in time for some New Year's binging, Season 4's six-episode run will be a late Christmas present - but if you have to known now, it's recently had its review embargo lifted.

Opening episode Crocodile is about a device that allows law enforcement to see the memories of people who witnessed a crime, so they can clear up details of what they saw or didn't see. Charlie Brooker's Twilight Zone-esque anthology series, which originated on Britain's Channel 4, offers different tales of modern horror, told through the lens of technologies or societies gone wrong.

And here we are, with a final trailer for Black Mirror and the coveted release date.

Netflix announced today that season 4 of Black Mirrorwill premiere on the service on December 29th, 2017, and it's been slowly drip-feeding fans teasers for season 4 in anticipation. The fourth season promises to live up to the widely lauded previous season, boasting high-profile directors like Jodie Foster, Toby Haynes, John Hillcoat, Tim Van Patten, David Slade, and Colm McCarthy, and stars like Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons.

Other upcoming episodes - all of which will once again be self-contained films - are the black and white "Metalhead", another titled "Hang the DJ", and the creepy "Black Museum". Not only has a full-season trailer been released, but many episodes have been given individual trailers as well.
