Akshay and Karan will collaborate on their next project which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi and though Salman was a co-producer in it, he later backed out. The opening ceremony of IFFI ceremony took place in Goa on November 21 and the closing ceremony took place on November 28 with full pomp and show.

The 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) concluded with a star-studded closing ceremony and felicitation of megastar Amitabh Bachchan with the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award. But it seemed like they deliberately tried to avoid each other. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor avoided any eye contact with Akshay Kumar and vice versa.

The emotional word of Amitabh Bachchan "I don't have words to define my gratitude". They didn't even exchange greetings before getting down the stage. It was being said that Salman apparently wanted KJo to launch his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in Bollywood under Dharma Productions banner but Karan backed out which left Salman livid.

While Akshay Kumar gave a great speech praising Amitabh Bachchan's career and his work in the film industry, Sidharth Malhotra paid tribute to the legend via a dance performance. Aayush is now being launched by Salman under his home production banner Salman Khan films.
