With people spending more every year on Black Friday and Cyber Mondays, we don't see this tradition dying anytime soon.

The Black Friday madness began early in one Alabama mall - which was forced to shut down as a result of several fights that erupted between shoppers. No one, however, was taken to the hospital. Police said they would have additional officers on duty.

Officials found at least one fight after 11 p.m. on the mall's second floor, AL.com reports.

Police say the man who fired the gun allegedly did so after trying to place the gun in its holster while sitting in a vehicle with another man, whom he reportedly knew. News reports will likely emerge pointing to a shortage of humans going out into meatspace to try saving half a penny on a veggie spiralizer.
