United Kingdom police investigating 2nd Spacey sex-assault claim

Scotland Yard investigate Kevin Spacey over second sexual assault allegation

Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp was the first to come forward with allegations against Spacey, saying the older actor tried to "seduce" him when he was 14.

Scotland Yard has launched an investigation into a second alleged sexual assault by Kevin Spacey that took place in London, this time dating back to 2005, Variety has learned.

"It is alleged a man assaulted another man (Victim 1) in 2008 in Lambeth".

Last week, The Old Vic theatre in London revealed it had received 20 testimonies of inappropriate sexual behaviour by Spacey while he was artistic director at the theatre - with the most recent incident happening in 2013.

The claim was made on Friday and alleges an assault took place on a man in Lambeth in 2005.

Lebanon's Al-Hariri arrives in Cairo for talks with Sisi
His failure to return to Lebanon since then had sparked rumors he was being held in Riyadh against his will, which both he and Saudi officials have since denied.

In contact with the French Agency, Scotland Yard confirmed that it had expanded the investigation to a male accused of sexual abuse without clarifying his identity, as no charges have been made at the moment against this person.

Scotland Yard is also looking into allegations that Spacey sexually assaulted another man in 2008.

But it said the same man was accused November 1 of another assault in 2008, also in Lambeth.

Alleged victim, Daniel Beal said that Spacey showed him his penis in public when he was 19, before giving him his £5,000 watch to buy his silence. The Old Vic said a "cult of personality" around Spacey had discouraged people from speaking out.

He has not commented on the London allegations, and the Old Vic says he did not respond to a request to participate in its investigation. He has denied allegations of assault, but said he is now seeking "evaluation and treatment" of his behavior.
