Harrison Ford Helps Rescue Woman After She Crashes Off The Highway

Harrison Ford and other bystanders helped the woman who is said to have suffered minor injuries in the crash get out of her vehicle safely until paramedics arrived

According to U.S. showbiz website TMZ, Ford, along with others at the scene, helped to get the woman to safety before paramedics arrived. But did you know the man who plays both Indiana Jones and Han Solo is just as much a hero off-screen?

When a woman lost control of her vehicle and plunged down a highway embankment on Sunday in Santa Paula, California, the iconic actor pulled his auto over and aided in the rescue effort. A sedan rolled over off of eastbound Highway 126 in the vicinity of Eighth Street and hit a tree, he said.

Senior Officer Matt Alonzo of the Santa Paula Police Department was working the incident, which took place around noon.
