IOS 11.1.2 rolls out with fix for iPhone X freezing issue

Does your iPhone X not work in the cold? Then grab this update now

The new version, 8.4.28, extends the user interface to both ends of the iPhone X. The phone would go back to operating normally after a few seconds. Apple had then issued a statement to The Loop saying it would issue a fix for this. The company knew and understood that this issue needed to be fixed sooner rather than later.

Apple's latest iPhone update, iOS 11.1.2, fixes that problem. Luckily, the app from one of the more popular music streaming services has now been updated, allowing it to take full advantage of the screen on the iPhone X. The barrage of iOS 11 updates continue.

Despite this, it's thought that the iPhone X has been a huge success for Apple. It's mentioned that iOS 11.1.2 update will include only two bug fixes, and no other new features are introduced.

The iOS 11.1.2 update is now available for the iPhone and iPad. As expected of a minor point release, there are no new features to speak of.

The issue with the launch of iOS 11.1 was that the display of the iPhone X would tend to be unresponsive under cold temperatures. Apple is now testing that feature in the iOS 11.2 beta, which also improves wireless charging speeds.
