Bayern Munich move four points clear with victory over Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich Five Key Duels In Blockbuster Clash

The rivalry between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund has become one of the most fun clashes to watch in recent years, and on Saturday they face off once more in the Signal Iduna Park with the top spot in the Bundesliga at stake.

Bayern - looking to win the Bundesliga title for the sixth successive season - have won six games and drawn two since an unexpected 2-0 defeat at Hoffenheim on 9 September. "It was impossible to predict four weeks ago that we would now be six points ahead of Dortmund and four ahead of Leipzig", said Heynckes.

"This is something we worked on hard".

The Dortmund boss has acknowledge his side's subpar form, admitting they "need to do a few things differently" to improve but also stressed that "if we win this, we are back at the top of the table".

None more so than striker Robert Lewandowski, who missed last Tuesday's Champions League win at Celtic with a thigh strain, yet dazzled at his ex-club Dortmund.

Lewandowski was deemed not to have got a touch to a cross from David Alaba - who was forced off with a hamstring injury in the second half - that ended up in the back of the net as the Bavarians put the result beyond doubt in the 67th minute.

Dortmund proved a threat on the counter-attack despite being penned inside their own half for long periods, Sven Ulreich racing off his line to stop Andriy Yarmolenko steering home from Gonzalo Castro's pass as the match sprang to life.

Puigdemont skips court appearance, but will cooperate with authorities - lawyer
Instead, Puigdemont and four of his colleagues traveled to Brussels in Belgium and hired a lawyer. With Puigdemont and four others in Belgium, only 15 turned up.

"I touched the ball lightly", insisted Lewandowski.

It was Marc Bartra who scored in the 88th minute for the hosts, but check out what young American Christian Pulisic did. He is now the Bundesliga's top scorer.

Bayern Munich have eased to a 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund to continue their winning run under Jupp Heynckes and move four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.

"We did not play like a top team", admitted Dortmund coach Peter Bosz.

After Aubameyang wasted his first chance of the match, Robben rounded off an exquisite Bayern move to give Bayern a 16th-minute lead.

Forward Timo Werner set up a goal and scored a late victor himself as Leipzig battled from a goal down against Hanover.

"We chose to play very compact, but that did not work in the first half".
