Isner, Sock in contention for ATP Finals

Injured Nadal survives scare to reach Paris QFs as Goffin joins Fedal & co. in London

The 25-year-old American is chasing his 4th singles title and if he manages to beat Krajinovic tomorrow, Sock will break into the top 8 of the ATP Rankings and earn himself a place in the Nitto ATP Finals.

Isner, a beaten finalist at this ATP 1000 event past year and seeded ninth in the French capital, needed to win Sunday's decider to book his place in the season-ending tournament at London's O2 Arena.

The big-serving Isner saw his hopes of a first World Tour Finals appearance come to an end, as the 32-year-old had to win the title at Bercy to snatch the eighth and final spot from Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta.

It was a quality match, with a lot of winners and a low number of unforced errors, considering the length and importance of the match for both rivals.

But the giant American, runner-up in Paris to Andy Murray a year ago, found a second wind in a second-set tie-break, reeling off the first five points in a row.

"I was sort of thinking about what football games I'm going to watch back home when this tournament is over", he joked.

It's Time To Turn Back The Clocks
What's more, she said, all of our routines need to find that adjustment as well, including the time we usually eat and exercise. Some studies show an overall reduction in traffic crashes and fatalities due to daylight saving time changes , WebMD stated.

The deciding set also stayed on serve but both men showed signs of nerves in the tie-break, Krajinovic giving up a mini break to fall 3-0 down.

First up on this afternoon's schedule, however, is the clash between Isner and Krajinovic, with the big-serving American - finalist previous year - a heavy favourite at [1.31] to dispatch the in-form Krajinovic.

He sealed victory on his first match point, breaking Cilic's serve with a cross-court forehand victor.

Isner started strongly, forcing the Serb to save three break points in his opening service game, but Krajinovic broke Isner in the fifth game. Filip played well as well but he could spoil everything in a loose 9th game when John earned a break point with a nice forehand attack. The victor had to be decided in the tie break and Isner opened it with a mini-break, following a big forehand error from the Serb.

Some rather unheralded names comprise today's semi-finals at the Paris Masters, and with matches getting underway at 13:00 United Kingdom time, our tennis columnist, Dan Weston, previews the action. The same scenario occurred in the 11th point as well, John failed to control the volley to lose a point on serve again, and Filip had a chance to close the match on own serve.

The 77th-ranked Krajinovic had only won 17 matches in his whole career - thwarted by a wrist injury - before this tournament.
