That flight has often born the number 666 and it has often traveled on various Fridays the 13th.

Flight 666 to HEL - the airport code for Helsinki, Finland - arrived safely in the Finnish capital on Friday the 13th, the last time the seemingly spooky flight will happen.

What's more, the flight departed 20 minutes after the 13 hour of the day, but today's flight will be the last of 21 times FinnAir has flown the route on Friday 13 since 2006.

Flight 666, which departed on the 13th hour of October 13 and headed straight for HEL (Helsinki, Finland), has arrived safely and ahead of schedule.

After Friday, the flight number will change from AY666 to AY954.

One member of Congress who viewed the ads said that of about 70 that person had viewed, all of them had racial themes. Asked what he wanted to know from Sandberg, Hoyer said: "What they knew and when they knew it".

It still operates a regular flight from Singapore's Changi Airport to Helsinki, meaning you can still go to HEL via SIN.

No doubt there will be an audible sigh of relief when it lands in Helsinki shortly before 4pm.

"Farewell to Finnair AY666", wrote the airline, "but remember, we still have a flight from SIN to HEL". "Luckily we managed to get the gate arrival in the end, and as we do things double-well here, the gate is 13+13=26!" the airport tweeted.

The irrational fear of the number 13 is called triskaidekaphobia, by the way.

Juha-Pekka Kidasto, pilot of the flight on September 13 2013, told the Associated Press at the time flying the 666 flight does not bother staff. "It's only a coincidence for me".
