Afghanistan strongly reacts at misrepresentation of info by Pakistan on prisoners swap

Afghanistan’s neighbours have biggest stake in its stability says interior minister

While addressing Asia Society forum on the sidelines of 72nd UN General Assembly session on Tuesday, Pakistan' Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that Islamabad will not take the blame for terrorist outfits like the Haqqani Network.

The Foreign Minister said Pakistan would not oppose US' decision to create an enhanced role for India in Afghanistan, to the extent that it is not related to military or strategic presence.

Saeed has already been classified as a terrorist by the United States and UN.

Pakistan has said that the Indian national would not be executed until he has exhausted his mercy appeals.

In the report it was argued that despite pressure from the US, India would not sever its ties with the TTP, JuA and other terrorist groups in Afghanistan, which RAW uses to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistan. "It was money which was reimbursed for the services we rendered to the U.S. and its allies", he said, referring to the Coalition Support Fund (CSF) that America gives to Pakistan for the Afghan war.

Student stabbed to death at New York City school, police say
In response to the stabbings, Mayor Bill de Blasio said he would tighten security at the school and implement scanning Thursday. The 18-year-old then walked out into the hallway, where he met a counselor and handed her a bloodied switchblade, police said .

During the weekly media briefing here at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he said that there was no organised footprint of the DAESH and Pakistan would take all necessary measures to mitigate the threat emanating from presence of the global militia in Afghanistan. Pakistan has also denied consular access to him on 16 different occasions, a point highlighted by the Indian team during the hearing before the ICJ bench.

Asif's comment are being seen as an attempt to deflect the latest criticism of Pakistan by USA and other countries for its support and shelter to terror organisations, while simultaneously conveying the role of Indian Intelligence in backing terrorist from the Afghan soil. Pakistan, he said, had in the past done all it could to facilitate a political settlement in Afghanistan, making sure that Pakistani soil was not used against any country.

The strategy places especial emphasis on influencing Pakistan to change its policies which are detrimental to the US, NATO, Afghanistan's and even Pakistan's own interests, he said. "It is time for Pakistan to demonstrate its commitment to civilization, order, and to peace", he added.

The Pakistan Foreign Minister, however, did not specify whether any proposal was made to the Indian and Afghan authorities over the swapping of Kulbhushan and the terrorist in Afghan custody. "These companies will return the documents within three days of submission of the credentials", said the statement.
