Five Bayern players turned against Ancelotti, claims club president

Carlo Ancelotti Not impressed with PL duo

Bayern Munich executives will decide whether to confirm Ancelotti or sack him.

Former Chelsea and AC Milan boss Ancelotti had been in charge at the Allianz Arena for almost 15 months after taking over as Pep Guardiola's successor in July 2016.

Bayern Munich fired Carlo Ancelotti as coach on Thursday after the German team's heaviest Champions League group-stage defeat.

Pressure had already been building on Ancelotti with Bayern enduring an inconsistent start to the season before losing 3-0 to PSG in the French capital on Wednesday.

Bayern, league champions in each of the past five seasons, are third in the German table, three points behind Borussia Dortmund, with four wins, one draw and one defeat from their first six matches.

'We're not Nazis, you've shown that by electing me' - new Ukip leader
Mr Goldsmith died soon after the 1997 election, creating political space for Ukip after his Referendum Party was dissolved. New leader Paul Nuttall left in June after failing to win a parliamentary seat in a general election.

The report says assistant coach Willy Sagnol could take over from Ancelotti, who replaced Pep Guardiola as Bayern boss in 2016.

"It's a loss we have to talk about, we have to analyse, from which we have to draw consequences in clear text form", Rummenigge said to FCBayern.tv, "I think what we saw this evening was not Bayern Munich".

SportBild reported on Thursday morning that a meeting would be held in the afternoon to discuss Ancelotti's future to make a decision.

He added, "Carlos is my friend and that will continue, but we had to take a professional decision for FC Bayern".

It did not help Ancelotti's cause that he controversially benched senior players Mats Hummels, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. "Our team's performances since the start of the season have not met our expectations", said Rummenigge. "I thought it was a good line-up for this game". Then there is nothing to misunderstand or to interpret wrong. Meanwhile, former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel is the best tipped to take over as he is now without a team at the moment, although the dreamer in Munich for the future is Jürgen Klopp, now in Liverpool.
