Debra Messing 'Dismayed' With Appearance on Megyn Kelly's Show

Review: The World Changed. NBC's 'Will & Grace' Hasn't.

"But you look incredible", Kelly said to Fonda, who was on Kelly's hour of the "TODAY" show with her costar in "Our Souls at Night", Robert Redford.

While appearing on NBC's "TODAY Show", the 79-year-old, two-time Oscar victor diverted host Megyn Kelly from her question about Fonda's plastic surgery in an awkward exhange.

"You, you've been an example to everyone, on how to age beautifully and with strength". "I think ... the gay thing is going to work out great!"

"We really want to talk about that now?"

Messing recently posted a picture of cucumbers on her Instagram page, and a fan asked her why she went on Kelly's show, calling the appearance a "fail". You look unbelievable. Why did you say, I read that you're not proud to admit that you've had work done.

"Well thanks. Good attitude, good posture, take care of myself", she said. "I was taught to think that if I wanted to be loved, I had to be thin and pretty".

China announces imposition of oil sanctions on North Korea from Oct 1
The "quake" occurred at approximately 08:30 GMT (16:29 local time) on Saturday, reports South Korea's Yonhap news agency. Ri Yong-ho described Mr Trump as a "mentally deranged person full of megalomania" on a "suicide mission".

Kelly laughed it off and responded, "Well, one of the things people think about you when they look at you is how awesome you look".

Robert Redford, her co-star in Our Souls At Night and who has worked with Fonda going back as far as 1967, visibly sniggered as she veered away from the plastic surgery question.

Speaking to The Guardian in 2015, Fonda said of aging, "I'm two years older than my dad was when he died. I wish I were courageous enough to not do plastic surgery but I think I bought myself a decade".

Kelly's next question went to Redford, where she asked him if there's anyone else he wants to work with.

He took the question in his stride, saying: "I look at Will Truman, I'm like, "He has it made".

"I've had plastic surgery. You have to stay fearless and keep trying to go beyond your comfort zone and see what you need to get to become who you're supposed to be".
