Poyet: Chelsea will be too strong for troubled Arsenal

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.

Last season, Arsenal beat Chelsea 3-0 at the beginning of the campaign at the Emirates Stadium, and that result proved pivotal.

The Gunners also handed Conte the most chastening defeat of his reign earlier that season with a 3-0 victory in the league, as well as defeating Chelsea in the Community Shield at the start of this term.

David Luiz's red card was the third Chelsea have endured in five games this season, but Conte merely described it as "strange" rather than a concern.

"Do you think we are becoming bad?" asked Conte. "With a bit more freedom, I believe we would have won the game".

"You need to see what happened before the tackle".

Arsenal said they had worked with the Metropolitan Police and UEFA in deciding whether the game, which the English team won 3-1, went ahead.

Arsenal were clearly the happier side, although they will feel irritated they could not get three points as Chelsea were kept out with a performance containing a resilience the Gunners are often accused of lacking.

Slender Man stabbing victim says defendant obsessed
Because of the plea, jurors on Friday were examining only whether she was legally responsible because of mental illness. Weier, now 15, pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree intentional homicide in a deal with prosecutors in August.

Chelsea welcome Arsenal to Stamford Bridge this Sunday as they look to continue their strong run of form. As Tribal Football report, the Italian has revealed in his pre-match press conference that he believes Arsene Wenger's men are right in the mix to with the title.

Now Conte says the 26-year-old is a "complete player".

With Mesut Ozil unfit to start and Alexis Sanchez only on the bench, all eyes were on Arsenal to see if they would collapse as they did at Anfield and lose a sixth successive league match at Stamford Bridge.

You know, because he shows passion?

"I don't know how they managed to infiltrate our fans and get everywhere but they did that very well". A odd situation. I think it can happen, this type of period, if you are not so lucky.

"I've been taking anti-biotics".

Afterwards Wenger said he was getting ready for the game to be postponed but was uncertain if the delayed kick-off was to blame for the Gunners' poor start. "And obviously he's going to be vital", Mertesacker said. "I don't think it's an advantage".

"We'll train hard these two days coming and we'll be ready for Sunday".
