Strong and blustery winds set to batter the country tomorrow
Temperatures will dip below average for the time of year with highs of just 19C (66.2F) in the south and 15C (59F) elsewhere. Heavy rain is expected later on Tuesday and early on Wednesday across parts of Northern Ireland and southern Scotland.

The Sentinelle is a French military operation created to deploy additional police and gendarmerie forces in the country after the January 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris. In August, a man rammed his auto into a group of soldiers near Paris, injuring six of them.

The Paris prosecutor's office says counter-terrorism investigators have opened a probe into the incident, based on preliminary examination of the attacker's background.

Including the attacks today in Paris and Burgundy, France has already seen 10 terrorist incidents in 2017. The man, who injured one of the officers, was also armed with two knives, French media reported. The attacker died when the auto caught fire and no soldiers were injured.

The operation has been widely criticized, some consider it ineffective, or even a target of Islamist attacks, but reassuring for the population according to others.
