Cardinals RB Johnson questionable to return vs. Lions

Cardinals LT D.J. Humphries expected to miss'a few weeks with knee injury

David Johnson's hasn't had an easy start to the 2017 season and now it includes a wrist injury suffered against the Detroit Lions in Week 1. The Lions secondary also played well, contributing three interceptions and keeping Arizona's receivers from hurting them. The Arizona Cardinals ruled the running back questionable to return from the injury.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford is playing his best football since a year ago and a half, and it could get a stronger with the addition of running back Ameer Abdullah, who missed later half of the last season with a foot injury.

Stafford threw a pick-six on his first throw of the season and was called for an intentional grounding on the next drive, but he finished the game 29 of 41 for 292 yards and four touchdowns, including two to rookie Kenny Golladay.

In the fourth quarter, with the Lions down two, Matthew Stafford lobbed a ball to the edge of the end zone, trusting his young receiver to leap and snatch the catch away from the defending Justin Bethel.

BJP and Congress trade accusations over Gauri Lankesh's murder
Over two years later, there has been little progress in the investigation. Kalburgi, Govind Pansare and Narendra Dabholkar.

Quarterback Carson Palmer has much to prove himself that he still has what it takes for the passing game to click. And second-year defense end Anthony Zettel posted the Lions' only sack of the game, and just the second of his career.

Veteran kicker Matt Prater filled in for Redfern at punter, averaging 34.8 yards on four punts with a long of 47 yards.

The sparkling two-touchdown debut of third-round rookie receiver Kenny Golladay, plus the shocking four-takeaway performance of the Lions defense, resulted in 20 unanswered points and a massive 35-17 win.

Another week, another new punter?: It might be the case for Detroit after Kasey Redfern injured his knee running out of the end zone after he dropped a ideal snap from Don Muhlbach. They also knocked David Johnson out of the game after forcing him to fumble in the third quarter Sunday. Rudock bobbled his first hold of the game, an aborted extra-point attempt. Golladay, a third-round draft choice, caught four passes for 69 yards. Redfern injured his knee on the play and did not return. The Minnesota Vikings will face the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football at 7:10 p.m. on ESPN.
