Fifth Harmony Performs 'He Like That' on 'GMA'

Fifth Harmony set to split just nine months after Camila Cabello left ...

Fifth Harmony wanted their powerful performance at the MTV Video Music Awards to show they are "stronger and better" than ever as a four-piece ensemble following Camila Cabello's exit.

"We get asked all the time if we're getting a fifth member", Brooke, 24, said on GMA.

However, there are reports that the group is headed towards dissolution because they have been offered solo deals by Epic Records.

Camila also went on to discuss how hard it could be to have her music be exactly how she wanted it to be while she was still in the band.

This was announced by Dan Wootton in his Bizarre Column according to The Sun.

"Like, what is this? We don't want to be shady, man", the singer can be heard saying before the interview cut off. She was not in attendance at the awards show today.

"We have tried with exhausted efforts and hearts to keep this group alive as the five of us, and we want it to be very clear that unfortunately those efforts were not mutual".

Understandably, social media went into a tailspin, as fans of the band wondered whether they had just thrown some spectacular shade at Camila - something which they addressed while appearing on Good Morning America this morning. Nevertheless, the company producing their album believes that each one of them can make it on their own and the members could be embarking on solo careers after their next album.

But the "Work From Home" singers stress the move was more about them than it was her. "Making headlines out of drama, that's not who we are as people", the star explained.

Fifth Harmony performed their song Down with Gucci Mane at the awards ceremony, just two days after releasing their third album, their first without Cabello. But what really has everyone talking from their performance is what happened right before they started singing, when an anonymous fifth member dramatically fell off the stage.
